| I've tried googling this but no luck. Anyone know where I can obtain plans to build a chassis frame for a monster truck? I think it would be a cool project. |

for the most part they are not a cookiecutter operation and allthough you may find a design that works for your needs the best thing is to just check out a few up close. there is no right way to build one but there is plenty of wrong ways. are you lookin to build a monster or just sling some big meats under a project rig? _________________ If you want to come in 2nd follow me! |

Well I think I might want to build something like that red dodge. I guess I'll just have to look closely and take pictures. Any clue what kind of asteel is used? It looks similar to lattice booms on cranes, but I do not believe that T1 would be ideal for this. |

monster regs are 2 inch dom tubing 124 thousands wall min..
mild steel dont work for it splits to easy and streches..
your 4link bars needs to be 21/2 od by 1/4 inch wall min..heavy hitters will use 3/8 wall for better support and less breakage this is also a dom or chomoly steel.. if you use chromoly be sure to tig it dont mig chromoly...
any more ? just ask _________________ www.quickmotorsports.com

i could help you come up with a chassis that suits your needs. depending on how elaborate you want it to be will dictate a price and time line. If you just want to put your regular truck up in the air with huge meats it should be pretty easy and quick to do. if you had all the parts it could be done in a few days but to build an entire chassis like modern monster trucks will take some serious time/money.

| Well I guess what i want to do is build a rolling chassis then set the original truck up on top of it, then do all the drive shaft and steering. I was pretty much asking is anyone had plans or a drawing of how i should set up the new chassis, because I want to do it all 9for the most part) myself. |
